Nosler 26

Let's see... If I sell my .30-06, .25-06 and my .300 WSM, I can afford the .26 Nosler Rifle...

Actually, it's tempting! Except I've got a LOT of .25 & .30 cal Nosler hunting bullets on hand, and no .264" bullets at all. Hmmm...

Now that the SHOT Show is over, have there been any shooting tests/reviews done?

You should start seeing reviews in the next month or two. We are currently in the process of getting rifles in the hands of the writers for full write-ups and reviews. Exciting stuff!

Send me a rifle, I will review it for free! I promise I might return it!

Shawn if I had one I could give you a real life review on how it works on eastern ground hogs this spring.
It would be all over the internet and reach more people.

I think it could be designated a 'Wyoming high altitude, low humidity, wind drift test rifle'! Best if tested by more than one shooter. After all, somebody sitting in a blind on a sendero in south Texas isn't going to really challenge the rifle's capabilities like we can, Fotis! There is a reason snowmobile manufacturers flock to Wyo to test their machines - extreme conditions which are difficult to duplicate conveniently, highly knowledgeable and competent test personnel, common sense political climate, etc.
So I volunteer to assist in this effort!

Wow! The generosity in WY just astounds me. Must be something in the water.

I'm still trying to get my hands(eyes) on the actual dims of the 26 Nosler. I've ordered the SAAMI drawing from two reamer makers...... still haven't seen them. I was hoping Nosler would have posted it by now. Still hoping ....... I don't want to pursue this build without it.

Send one to me and I will shoot several crop damage WT deer out to 800 yds + starting in July.

Nah...all you "Lesser 48ers" can't really challenge a rifle....

How about a Brooks Range Dall Sheep/Griz/Caribou test?

I am compelled to suggest that a test in the wilds of northern BC may just be in order for this rifle. I wouldn't want all you living in the USA to imagine that we are somehow less generous in our desire to assist in verifying the abilities of this fine rifle.

Definitely a short Rum vs. a 375 Ruger. I think it will work nicely in the 300RUM Win 70 I have in the safe. This case should be interesting to neck up to .277, .284, .308, .338 and maybe even down to .257! A 257 Nosler might be to much of a good thing.
I'd always wanted Winchester to produce a long action version of the WSM.... finally got my wish. Thanks Nosler!!

As I have said repeatedly, the generosity displayed on this forum is beyond all comprehension. Great offers, people. Anyone else willing to top these that have been given so far?
