My buddy recently made a lousy shot on a 5 poit bull elk at 125 yrds. His shot hit the bull thru the hind quarters rendering both back legs useless. He walked up to the elk and finished it off at point blank. The bullet was a 180 grain nosler Partition from his 30:06. My buddy says the bullet went clean thru the bull. He says he made a lousy shot on a running bull but that nosler bullet saved the day. Hows that guys. This is really about bullet performace I think. I,m not sure many other brand of bullets could break thru all that heavy elk bone and get the job done. I thought some of ya might enjoy this one. The story is fun for me because I loaded them noslers for him. Hubcap :grin:
