I had a chance to shoot on a Nice 600 yard high power range yesterday to see what my lil 22-250 could do. Its a Remington 700 SPS-V Topped off with a Sightron 6.5-20 scope.
Load is
50gr NBT
39 Gr H380
WW Brass
OAL is 2.495

Side View of my gun i painted the stock my self. I got bored one day this summer. Going to replace it this winter anyways with an H&S stock.

A caddy picture i managed to get with my Camera. If you look close you can see the bowling pins i was shooting at also that day.

This is my Group i had it measured little over 3 inches. took me 3 sighters to get to the center.

You used the wrong link at photobucket to post your pictures. Would like to see the rig.

Nice. I'd like access to a range like that! That must have been a blast. Nice group, too.

The pictures are working now, and i got lucky with the range its private but my brother works for the guy that owns it. he said anytime i wanted to shoot i could anytime i wanted.

Thanks guys. When i mean cheap it was 500 brand new out of the box. And have read reviews that only made this gun sound OK shooting if that. I did however, remove the pressure point on the stock of this rifle. That was the only modification to an other wise stock rifle.
Next up is my Rem 700 264 WM in the CDL configuration, once my scope comes in.

That CDL chambered in 264 WM is certainly a fine looking piece of equipment. I'll be looking forward to a report. All the CDLs that I have shot or seen shot do a good job; I wouldn't expect any less for this. You got a bargain on your SPS, for sure.

Mlauder, I have a feeling that most of the folks complaining about that rifle never took the time to freefloat the barrel, and adjust the trigger. After all, it is still a Remington 700.

Since we are on the subject of cheap guns, what was the biggest steal you guys have ever stumbled on. Just curious i guess. I can honestly say this was my first 700 and im sure i will not stray far away from BIG GREEN. My CDL shoots good at 100, about 3/4 inch. Didn't get a chance to shoot it much further then that.

P.S. My scope for the 264 WM should be here within a couple weeks had to have it special ordered through Sightron, so i've been waiting for a while now. I think little over a month now. Im excited to put some rounds through my newest boom stick with the scope on it. Im a big fan of these sightrons they track really well.

Im shooting 69.5 grains of retumbo under the 125 partitions. Its a smoking load and shoots great with the CCI 250's.
