Looks good.
Bet it shoots good too.

With the Mernickle cross draw this is and awesome unimposing carry with great balance. Never in the way, don't have to stretch or over extend my reach. I carry it in a natural place for quick access, more toward the center of my low stomach than my hip bone. It is a natural reach. Did an article on this carry and it should be out soon and the article explains it in much more detail.

I'm considering a Mernickle crossdraw for my 6" model 57.

The S&W 66/19 is just one heck of a nice revolver. Very well balanced. Not at all heavy or cumbersome.

Just about perfect. And I'm not the only one to think so.

Mine is a much battered old Model 19, 2.5" barrel. Love that thing...

Guy

Yes indeed Guy the 66 and 19 are out standing revolvers indeed.

Mine is an older one. Not sure the year, never tried to date it.

Recessed chamber holes in the cylinder. Pinned barrel.

Good old gun for sure. I shoot a lot of .38's out of it, mostly with lead bullets. Now and again I'll shoot some rip-snorting .357's...

I love S&W revolvers and I love the 357 magnum cartridge
