Reloaded 160 G Accubonds for my buddy. He killed a 6x6 bull quartering to elk with one shot at 175 yards. The bull had droped before he could rack another round. We did have to fool with this load a bit in his 7mm rem mag to get it right...accuracy and terminal came together. Glad to see firsthand that the AccuBond is another great proven hunting bullet from Nosler.

Deadeye,

Congratulations to your friend on his bull Elk.
Do you have any details on the performance of the 160 gr AB?
What was the path of the bullet in the elk?
Was the bullet recovered? If so, what did it weigh and what is the diameter of the mushroom.
Thanks for any details you can share. There are many of us here that appreciate detailed field reports.
I plan on using the same bullet in my 280AI for our upcomming deer season here in MI.

Regards,

We are from Michigan as well. The bull was quartering to the right. He took out both lungs. We did not recover the bullet. We were a mile+ away from camp and it was getting warm. We skinned and deboned the bull for the most reasonable transport.
