Had a 40'x60'x14' pole barn built when we built the house. Seemed it would be plenty big enough.
Three years later, wishing it was bigger.
Added a couple of shelving units from Lowe's that uses vertical space and slapped a 7 1/2'x30" work bench from scrap lumber I had in the pole barn. Made a huge difference.
Next up is some 4'x6' dolly carts for the implements. Feels good to take control of things.

As my wife is fond if saying, "we quickly grow into the size of our new fishbowl!"

Nice shed!
Didn't take long to fill my 10'x24' 10' shop and 8'x16' side shed.
Need to build the other matching side shed for the other side of the shop...

That is a great barn. Dolly carts for the tractor implements help a lot. Then you can roll them around out of the way. I had all of my implements on some sort of wheels. It makes hooking up the 3 point implements a lot easier also.

A couple sections of pegboard can help a lot also.

Good luck with it all. Dan

Never have enough storage. I built mine to replace an aging building that was at the end of its useful life. Built it twice as big as the old one, used left over lumber and scraps to build shelving and add old kitchen cabinets for storage over the work bench. I can back my 16' boat in to work on it but wish it was another 5' wide and 5' longer.
Yeah, you can do lots to consolidate things to make room but still never enough room.
And by the way that's a nice-looking building.

Thanks fellas.
Here is the outside. Doors are 12'x12' each. 2 in the front and 1 in the back so you can drive through.

Jim that is a very nice building and well organized. Like your wall decorations as well. My problem is holding on to stuff I keep telling myself I'm going to use someday and haven't yet. Running out of time and figure it's time to reduce the clutter, :D Dan.

Yup, I'm in the same boat Dan. Not to mention all the kids stuff. The freezer, Simplicity mower and bedroom set all belong to my daughter. Like I said, I'm taking control of my barn. Long overdue!

Lots of horns hanging in there.
Drive through doors on both ends is where I screwed up on mine. I don’t know anyone who says “dang is wish I built a smaller one”. You have some open space , you should see the sardines packed in my can😂.
