Finally able to get to the range without the howling wind that we have had here in OK. These are from my final test loads. Looks like 62 grain is the winner, 60.8 comming in at second. I have not chronoed yet, I loaded some more of the 62 which is what I will probably stick with. Seemed like everything at 63 grains or above gave me a stick bolt. Not sure why so I just back out. Any suggestions or do you guys think that is satisfactory. It will definitely kill game. Next is trying 165 grain nosler ab, but that will probably be next spring.

Looks pretty good to me! Should take care of anything you hunt around OK. What bullet are you shooting? Scotty

Sounds like it is an excellent load. What are you planning to hunt with it? Scotty

Mostly whitetail here in Oklahoma and Kansas, I wanted a load heavy enough in case I go elk hunting, but have not been in a while. Also wanted a good bullit to travel a long way as we hunt the prairie's and it is mostly spot and stalk. Like I said in my previous post I am gonna try the 165 or 168 Ab and see how they shoot, I have a good load with 150 BT, but I don't think they do good a long range. I am satisfied with the 180, good all around load and it keeps it simple.

Yep, sounds like you nailed it. I think the 180gr AccuBond is probably going to cover everything you intend to hunt pretty well. Any idea on what kind of speed you are getting out of the 180's? That 300WSM seems like a pretty accurate cartridge, and you have an awesome rifle. Scotty

The information from the manufacturer says 2874 best I remember, I sure it will be different and I have another 15 or so rounds loaded to chorno and do a double check on accuracy. I feel that the H4350 shoots better than the VHIT. N-550.

That is a great load. Good luck with it. Throw a picture of your set up, on the post. It is always neat to see the Nosler Rifles! Scotty

Thanks Scotty, here you go, the turrets are made by Kenton and have a range of 600 yds, the scope is a Leupold 4.5 to 14 LR

That is a very nice set up! Wow, that will do it! Thanks for showing some pictures. It is an awesome rifle. Scotty

The turretts work fine, they are probably more accurate than I am, they are on paper out to 600 yds, I was only accurate to around three, which I think separate the men from the boys. It just take a lot of range time, but I feel comfortable to 400 yds.

You aren't kidding. 400 yards is a long shot for me. I would like to have a solid load that I can shoot to 500 yards, and then really practice alot at all ranges up to 500 from field positions. Scotty
