Hi Folks,
Anybody have any helpful suggestions for using the Neck turner attachment for the RCBS manual case trimmer.
I am getting frustrated in trying to use this thing. I am finding that neck pilot/Reamer is so tight in the neck that turning necks has become a two step process.
1st step - Ream the neck so that it moves easily within the case neck (cutter blade is lifted so that it doesn't cut into the neck) - this takes at least 2 minutes to do - sometimes 5 min. (the neck pilot.reamer binds if I force it into the neck)
2nd step - lower the cutter blade to turn the neck.
During the Ist step I seems like the whole case "flexes" slightly one-in-awhile. Seems to me that this would negatively affect the concentricity of the neck.
Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
BTW - I am loading for .300 WSM using Win. Brass.
