Ready for PacNor!

No brake - I find them a little loud besides I chose the 280AI and the weight of the rifle should make recoil quite mild. I'm thinking Cerekote on the action but I'm still deciding on whether to do just the flutes or the entire barrel. Heck, I may even do the barrel and action in camo to match the stock. Have a guy here local who is pretty darn good.

That is going to be one sweet set-up. I can wait for the range report and then first hunting story with photos.
Great job!!

Blessings,
Dan

Looks like it will be a sweet rig! Where is this 1000 yard range you speak of? I do my long range shooting just outside of silverton....let me know if you want to go throw some lead downrange sometime. I'm usually shooting by myself cause my friends are lame!

Shoot_5,
The club is Douglas Ridge in Eagle Creek. I believe the 1k is open every Tues and for shoots. They have a web site you should check it out. I mostly shoot at my place but it only goes to 400yds. I've also got an old deer hunting buddy in Silverton has a thousand acres and he has given me permission to shoot there as well(used to be good blacktail hunting).

I always wanted to check out Douglas Ridge, but Tri-County is just too convenient. I can get there in about ten minutes, unless I want to take my dad along.

I'm 30 minutes away from either. Tri-county is a well run nice facility. They have shooting for just about every discipline. I've shot cowboy action and highpower for competition there and used their 100-300 rifle ranges for sight in. Douglas Ridge is quieter not as diverse but they do run to a 1000yds. I'll be joining Douglas soon.
