Very good video, his commet at the end about the words "under God", that might make a it prayer and get thrown out of the classroom was spot on. Do the kids still say the Allegiance?

I'm revealing my age, but I remember this when it was done. The comedians of an earlier era were not ashamed to identify as Americans and to actually produce laughter through genuinely humorous stories rather than trying for shock value with scatological references or dabbling in various bodily fluids. Red Skelton appeared as a gentleman who was truly funny. Great post with some great memories.

Yeah we will not see the likes of Red again unfortunately. This I have on DVD and his Pledge of Allegiance is why I keep it.
