Reloader 22 for a 270

I am getting sub MOA with 60 Grs of reloader 22 in my 270. Only problem is that the 60 Grs seems to fill the case to capacity. Is this ok? How come some tables I have read suggest in excess of 60 Grs with other powders. Are they heavier and consequently less bulky?

Compressed loads are fine, if they are built on data from a reliable manual. The amount they fill the case/compress can vary according to density, but drop tubes are normally used to help get the powder settled allowing more to be used.

Excellent powder for the 270 Win, yes it fills the case, thst is what you won't. Very efficent......make sure you use a good primer like Fed 210 Match. My load with the 130 Part was 61.0.
