Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mag

Thanks Mike. It was an awesome gift. Wished I could shoot it more. Gotta find a holster for it and try to get that Ruger HiViz front sight for it. Then I think it will be ready for carrying and shooting. I like the sights on it, but on a hunting gun I would rather have a little more light gathering for the front sight. Just finished cleaning it up after the first shooting session. Pretty easy, and it is a nice looking pistol in my opinion, and the stainless should help from getting to messed up from packing it around. Scotty

Wow, that is a sweet looking pistol too! I wished I was a touch closer, I would be over in a heartbeat. Scotty

I just looked at yours again Pop. I don't have the bisley grip but the wood looks the same. I really like the feel of those bisleys.

They have got to be some strong Cowboy guns. I am still getting used to the Blackhawk grip, but it does seem to point very well. It is "almost" 1911 like to me. That is a good thing for me. Man, I need to get out and shoot this thing some more. 24 rounds the other day was a tease. Scotty
