Sako 85 left hand Bavarian

Ha! I saw a box of 200 grain .358 AB priced at $84.99 this week! How's that one for ya', Dan?

Ouch, I hope that wasn't at Corlane's things are bad here for pricing but not quite at that level.

A 223 like that one would be sweet Lou.

Scotty, if you can find a good deal on a 260 Rem or 6.5x55 you won't regret it. Some of the older 260's had a 1 in 9 twist but the newer ones are 1 in 8.

Two hundred twenty-five grain 358 AccuBonds are priced $54.99 at Corlanes, Gerry; a much more reasonable price. Nevertheless, I anticipate anywhere from a 20% to 30% price increase on components during the coming year. As the newer components come online, I don't see prices dropping. The fire at the PB Clermont plant in Belgium is foreboding for powder costs and availability. The continued demand for copper in India and China will have an impact on brass and jacketed bullets.

...oohh, aren't you just "Mister Sunshine"???

Mike those 200gr must have been accidentally placed in the jewellery section 8). yes I am quite fortunate as I have almost enough supplies to finish off my career in hunting. Will likely just have to pick up the odd can of powder here & there along with some bullets.
If I pick up 2 more boxes of the 150gr ABLRs in the 284 I will have 500 and that should last a year or 2 :) & I already have 3 boxes of 168gr ABLRs so I am good there for awhile. I am going to start a load development for my Nephew's 7mm mag this spring now sure if I am going to stick to the 160gr ABs. or maybe the 168s as they do have a great BC and if he buys my 270win then the 7mm mag will like be his Elk & Moose rifle.
Just thinking out loud !

Blessings,
Dan

I would think they would be a tad heavy as earrings or for lip piercings.

I believe it was Fotis that has the best line on grossly over priced bullets when he suggested a guy "use them for suppositories"

Makes no sense in that the price of copper has fallen out $3/lb. Economics say that should drop the price of bullets!! Go figure!!

I'd like to have a Sako. Either the Gray laminate or a Finnlight in a small 6.5. Being as I've really piled on a bunch of Model 70's a Sako would be a lot of fun in a small, accurate 6.5. I've never seen a Sako that didn't look very nice and finished very nicely.

I also like the Model 70's as well as Weatherbys Scotty, but there's just something about Sako's that just makes me feel good :) ..I only have 2 hunting rifles (Bavarian's) and looking at getting a 3rd one, most likely in .223 Remington, just like this one pal,

Lou

Somebody please get me a rag so I can wipe the drool from my chin.
