I would like to get a new stock for my Sako V and am having a hard time finding one. What am I missing? All is see is 691 stocks.

I've a friend/gun smith who has a nice sako stock for sale. It's wood and I "believe" (not sure) the guard screw length is 7 3/4". PM me for your info if interested, I'll send you pics and Dave's phone number.

Give McMillan, Manners, Brown a ring Matt. They should be able to set you up with what you have and what's available. I'd bet it isn't the first one any of them have seen.

After pondering a stock swap for my model 75 and doing a bunch of research, Accuflite was at the top of my list. (Went a different direction and sold that rifle, so don't have any hands-on experience to relay.)

I've done some calling and McMillan is the only company that makes a stock for this rifle. So, do I drop the $600 on this rifle or not????

Yes. Yes. And yes!

Get exactly what you want and you'll love it.

I have a McMillan AV stock that was on a 280.
It would need to be rebeded and has one small chip in the tang area.
Stock is black and is an exact copy of the original AV stock.
I wood sell for 200 plus shipping

After looking at different models, I believe that my Sako is a model 75 Deluxe Hunter with the V sized action.
