A funny recipe for salmon that's really good is pan fried sweet crunchy salmon.

Crush up captain crunch cereal into crumbs, season crumbs with garlic powder. Slice filet into strips, dunk in milk and then roll in crushed captain crunch and pan fry in olive oil.

It's a favorite in my household!

There is something about the sweet/savory thing that really turns out well. Its one of the few ways that I can get my kids to eat salmon on occasion. On years we don’t get a moose we have to eat a lot fo salmon. There are only so many ways to cook salmon before you start repeating!

Salmon on the plains is a rare treat. Before my wife and I can't do it anymore we are going to take gerry & Maria up on their invitation to do some salmon fishing up in their part of British Columbia. Unfortunately I don't think it will be this year as the plan is for the 3 Amigos to use their 35 Whelens on a Moose or two this coming season :mrgreen:!!

Yes Vince I know that piece of water :lol:. When my wife retired from
Walmart 8 years ago she basically did not get any pension for 30 plus years of service but the one thing that has been very beneficial is the lifetime 10% discount card.
