Savage offers for 2011 the 260 Rem.

Or worse yet, goes o the kitchen and grabs a cast iron frying pan...

Man, I am really dieing for a 6.5 also! I had some thoughts of building one, but this could be a great start! I think the 260 is so underloved by many shooters, but man, to me, I really wished I would have went with some kind of 6.5 when I bought my wife's 308. Less recoil, better ranging ability, and a ton of great bullets. Scotty

How does that saying go ? I hope when I'm gone she doesn't sell them all for what I told her I paid for them.........

 Too funny on the cost factor. It would have been interesting to see what my ex would have sold some of mine for that were "really cheap".

Oh man! Same here! I am leaving my combo to the safe, in my will, that way when they dole out my stuff, I know they will go to good hands. My son and daughter will get everything, but I should put a clause in there, they can never sell any of them.... Heck, maybe I will take one or two with me. You know, we are going to the happy hunting grounds when we pass, so I am pretty sure I will need a few good rifles, right? Scotty
