Sig 1911 10mm Stiff slide bar release

Hello,
I recently purchased a Sig 1911 10MM. I have shot only 10 rounds through it and now the slide release is super stiff. Were before I shot it I could release it with my thumb pretty easily. I took it apart and cleaned it out. My question is will it loosen up the more I shoot it or will it stay stiff.

I have a sig tacops 1911 10mm. I haven’t noticed any issues with a stiff slide release. When you took it apart did you figure out what was causing the issue?

After I took it apart and cleaned it I did not notice anything out of place. But now with an empty mag pull back the slide and it is very hard to release cannot do it with my thumb holding the gun but if you put a loaded mag in it its easy and smooth as silk. Also when you get to the last shot its 50/50 if the slide stays open or closes.
