Nice ! I just saw where Springfield Armory has a double stack 1911 that is new also.
Just curious about the 10mm and why it is so popular. I understand that it is more powerful than a 9mm but why not just go for the .45acp? 1mm can't make that much difference, can it?
I have a Springfield armory custom shop 1911 that Les Bare built when he was running the custom shop and it will still hold the X ring at fifty yds after 10's of thousands of target rounds through it.
