Stuck Case removal?

I'd bet that case has seen a few loads by the looks of it.... CSH notwithstanding. Glad you didn't get hurt in the process.
 
Yes me to. Thats why all the brass I got with the fifle is going bye bye, I will be buying some new brass later this week to start load devopement. I have to say the Winchester took it like a champ. I'm still not sure where the primer went though. Little confused on that one, unless its still stuck in the rifle.

Check down in the magazine, especially between the sides of the magazine and the stock. Strange things can hide in those tiny crevasses. Alternatively, the spent primer could easily have fallen out when the case head was extracted or fallen into the magazine. When we are shaken following a catastrophic case rupture, we are always cognizant of every detail.
 
Kinda like removing a bearing from a shaft. The compressed air would of worked but it might have been tough getting enough of it in the right spot. Good thinking with the dry ice.
