What is the one rifle you will never ever part with ? What makes it stand out in your collection more than the others?

My M700 280 AI with a Hart barrel. She is a tack driver an all I would ever need for NA hunting.

My Winchester model 670 30-06. It was the first rifle I ever owned. My dad and I went in together on it when I was about 15. Used all of my savings to come up with half the price, Dad paid the rest, and I had to live with only 1 box of ammo for a month, until I could afford another one. rifles have left me in debt ever since!

My MARK V CUSTOM 30-06 and what makes it stand out is how it shoots and the uniqueness of the rifle and it's specs along with the Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40mm Rapid Z - the total package weighs 7.5 pounds (including scope) and that is with a 24" barrel. On top of all of that it is a beautiful rifle with a cool green spider web B&C Medalist stock. The balance is as perfect as any fine rifle I have ever owned and on top of all of that the Cera-Kote finish really protects it in the elements. All I would need for North America or Africa where it is legal.

Of the two rifles I have? Given a choice to keep only one?..........I suppose I`d keep my 20" barreled .375 Ruger Alaskan!

25" barreled 375 H&H performance coming from a shorter, an easier carrying, a faster handling, go anywhere in any weather and more compact rifle...........From deer to elephant versatility!

My Remington M700 ADL 7mm RM my Dad bought it for me when I was 14 nothing fancey but its a shooter.

My Sako Sporter in 30-06, had it for almost 30 years. Will never part with it.

OK guys, don't laugh, I would keep my Ruger Deerstalker .44 caliber carbine (circa 1960 I believe) Got my first deer with it. It's great for the Maine woods.

I don't have 1 but I do have 4 that I can never part with except to pass on to future family members. They include:

Great Gradfather's Winchester M 06 22 pump
Grandfather's 03a3 30-06 he sporterized after the war over 50 years ago
Dad's M 70 7mmRem Mag
My custom built target 308 on a M 98 action

I just realized that half of those rifles were used by opposite teams somewhere between '42-45' but seem to be getting a long just fine in my safe :p

Have quite a few rifles that I have purchased through the years including a custome built 7-08 built on a Sako action, air guaged Shilon barrel, Bell & Carlson stock and topped with a 3X9 Swarovski scope (total 6.5 lbs), but the one I couldn't part with is a 1945 model 94 lever action that my dad bought when he came home from WWII. I carried it out of the woods for my dad as a 7 year old kid so he could drag the deer he had just shot. It sits in the back of my gun safe and hasn't been used in over 10 years, but it has the most meaning to me, since it is what started the fire in me to hunt and enjoy being in the outdoors.
