Man, those are nice rifles. I hope to own a 275 Bee one of these days! I think it would fill one of my caliber gaps. Scotty

I am not giving any of mine up period

anyway more realistically

I have a model 700 bdl in 7 mag that was my first rifle of my own my grand father got 4 700s in different calibers for the grand kids and I got first choice of course I took the 7 mag I was 13 and did not know any different I had the choice of 25.06 ( which turned out to be a 700 classic) 280 (which turned out to be a mountain rifle) and a 7mm 08.

I have since got the 25.06 and pretty much have the 7mm08 as well as it is my brothers and he refuses to hunt with it cause he lost a deer with it.

The bad thing is I hate to do anything to the 7 mag because then it would lose some of the nostalgia and I have since got a 270 wsm so I really have no need for the 7 mag and I kinda want to build on it but then it is never the same so I will probably send it out to get teflon coated and park it in the safe.

hopefully I will be getting another one some day my dads 721 300 h& h obviously I dont want it too soon but I really like that gun he almost had the set of 721s he still has the 270 and about 6 mos after he sold the 30.06 he found a 264 win mag I then later found out they actually made a 280 also if I ever find a 721 264 win mag I will buy it no matter what.

ANd finally 2 weeks from now I hope to get another one I cant turn loose of As I turn 30 I told mama I need a 30 caliber hopefully an 300 rum man is that going to be a money pit.

sorry for the ramble I just could not resist

Those M700 Classics are nice! I also have a 35 Whelen, shoots lights out.

Desert Fox,

Beautiful long range rig! And no long range rig would be complete without Swaro LRF. Nicely done!

Wished that scope would hurry up and get here!

What is the one rifle you will never ever part with ? What makes it stand out in your collection more than the others?

My CZ 550 American in 9.3x62. Why? Because I took my first and second Kudu with it, on the same trip, after being skunked on two previous trips (using different rifles) trying to take a Kudu. My CZ 9.3x62 just seemed to be magic on that trip. I have a real sentimental attachment to that rifle. I've also become a big fan of the 9.3x62 cartridge.

I agree thanks for sharing the pictures.

I would like to give the 9.3x62 a try... classic African cartridge, tons of effectiveness without abusing the shooter. I'm leaning more toward the CZ550FS, but that's a pretty nice looking shootin' iron.

What a miserable world it would be were I limited to only one rifle and/or cartridge. All cartridges are interesting and fun to work with.

That is a very tough call. ONE!?!?

It'd have to be either my 30-06 or my .358. Both have Pac-Nor tubes so I'm into each pretty good. I killed my first deer with that '06 and also another one with a really good friend I hadn't seen in a decade, so it's a "lucky rifle" for me.

I guess it'd have to be my 30-06 on financial and sentimental grounds, plus it'll kill anything I need to hunt. Ouch. Perish the thought.

Here's the gun I'll never give up, a 1950's era Savage Model 99 in 300 Savage. A hand-me down from Grandfather, to Father, to me.
