Yeah that 416Wby is one fine round indeed and a lot of power to boot with a whole lot left over as it passes out the other side. 8) 8)

This is a tough one. I dearly love my Rem. LSS 375 RUM. "One gun"!!!???
I guess for EVERYTHING it would have to be the 30-378 Wby. just for the versatility and accuracy of it but I keep hoping I'll pass away before it comes to that :lol: How about 1 and a back-up??

Yes Sir! actually I'm still learning how to shoot at long range. I'm having a ball to say the least. I have some discussion with residence experts, regarding the intricacies of longrange shooting on another board. I'll share it here for some interesting read.

Wow, that is one awesome Whelen. I am really jealous, but since it is left handed I can control it. That is a fine rifle. I guess if I could have just one rifle it would be my M70 7MM Rem Mag. It was my first rifle and has been a great shooter. Plus it made me learn how to handload and make decent rounds. Scotty
