I think he had better check his pants on that one. It looked like a smaller to mid size bear but it initially didn't want to give up on getting a taste of him.

Dang, that happened fast! Little dude was determined to get a bite in...I think that's the first time I saw someone go up a mtn faster than they came down it.

The gentleman definitely reacted quickly. Elsewhere, I read that he accredited his training in jujitsu for avoiding becoming a snack for an upset bruin.

Looks like the bear got skinned up in that attack.

If you watch the video closely you can see a Cub. Once the bear gets knocked below the climber it retreats and comes back towards him. Then you can see the cub on the same ledge in the brush. You may have to watch it a couple times to catch it.

That's a great video! Mostly great in that I was not the star. Though, if you must star in a bear attack video, this is about as good as you could ask.
