I went on a binge with Tikka's for a bit and have gotten rid of them. Not because they were excellent shooting, cause my God, they have all shot easily, functioned like goose grease on stainless steel, but I am such a Model 70 or clone sorta guy I hardly ever picked one up over a Model 70. I still have a 270 SuperLite, but that is on the chopping block as well. I put McM Sako Classic EDGE filled stocks on them all, and man, what a great hunting rifle.
So when people ask about what they should buy, I recommend a Tikka cause man, they are tough to beat for price, out of the box accuracy, and weight. Just can't hardly get no better for a guy that just wants a solid hunting rifle.
