Anyone have the correct trim length for .338RUM Brass? The only data I've found online is at Barnes and they say 2.750. Most of my factory brass is already shorter than that by a few thousandths?

2.76 is what the Nosler manual shows Once you shoot that new brass and especially if you full-length re-size they will be longer than that. If the in-consistancy in your new brass concernes you, you can measure them all and trim to the shortest length but unless you're a world class competetor it won't make a noticable difference in accuracy. I've done some tests on 375 H&H brass blown out to 375 Wby. The blown out brass was about 10 thousanths shorter then the factory 375WBY brass. After loading some of each to the same OAL I saw no difference in the two groups at 100 yds.
I'm sure there will be more posts on this subject.
Good Shooting
