Anybody made this modification? If so, how do you like it?

Says it reduces lock time by up to 40%...that can't hurt accuracy any...I need all the help I can get

Model 70's have a pretty slow lock time anyway, and my sons rifle came from the factory with a weak firing pin spring which I will replace with a Wolff spring (+2 lbs.)...I ordered a Wolff spring for both rifles, mine has had 2 light strikes since I bought it (about 250 rounds)...Brocks has had quite a few (4 just last week). I took the springs off both guns while I was home and there was a huge difference in them...the spring from my rifle was a full 1.5 inches longer than his (exact same rifle, serial #'s within a few hundred, bought at the same time)...I guess his just had a bad spring in it, but the 2 light strikes with mine (both on very hot days) got me to looking at our options.

The Wolff springs are easy enough and cheap enough to get...but the reduced lock time of the SpeedLock is sorta attractive to me.

Any of you guys have an opinion on this?

I changed out the crappy J-lock set-up in a Remington Model 700 of a young mans rifle with the Tubbs assembly and it works great.
