Undersized BT

Loading some 30-06 BT’s and one fell into the neck. Not sure what happened here, with the green tip and all., but it’s clearly smaller diameter. I have an email sent to nosler. The only other green tips I have are some 22 cal blitz kings

Maybe they decided to shrink packaging instead of raising prices like all other companies are doing. You'll have to order 8mm to get 7.62.

Size difference is enough but a .284 in a .277 box might make it through and that could be dangerous.

Yep. At the very least would have resulted in a crushed case shoulder.

I ran into the opposite issue with 168 Barnes TTSXs awhile back - bullets appeared to be slightly oversized. I discovered this issue when I noticed that my previously accurate load for my 300 WSM (58.0 g RL-15) went south in the accuracy department. Thinking that barrel throat erosion may have been the issue, I attempted to measure the COL using my Hornady OAL gauge only to discover that some of my 168 TTSXs from the same box would not fit into my modified Hornady OAL case.
