( I apologize, I had this rifle priced wrong, fixed it) I decided to sell this rifle . its just too light for me to hold still. I did shoot a big Cow elk last week around 150yds though. I'm going back to Standard Weights. Let me tell you what I have:
Rifle started out as a 338/06 A-Square. I wanted more so had it Ackleyed. Didn't gain much, so had it "rebarreled/chambered/bedded, converted" to the new Wby 338 Rebated Precision Magnum. i.e. 338 RPM. 24" Douglas Air Gauged 10" twist, fluted/contoured to match the existing factory barrel. Original barrel's Accubrake reinstalled, along with a new Trigger Tech trigger. Cerakoted barrel/action- Socom Blue. No scope but comes with Leupold 2pc STD bases. Sold separate (one full box plus 4 rds in another (few empties) 185 TTSX. New unused LEE Dies, around 75 175gr Hammer Hunters, 2 new boxes of 50 Speer 200 HC, half a handful of Barnes 210 TTSX. 50 New Petersen Brass cases. With 4 rds in magazine, my 2.5x8 mounted rifle weighed only 7#. With the brake its a "push" more than a snap, very easy/fun gun to shoot.
Asking $1,200 plus $50 shipping(Post Office Money Orders.) (Ammo and stuff $200 shipped) via UPS.

Must have an FFL Dealer for mine to ship to. My computer won't let me send pics just yet (I'm working on it!) Only a couple of Iphone pics now, will have more pics later this week hopefully. I'm having the chamber designation Laser Engraved at present. You only buy Quality Once. Please PM to contact me.

Thanks for the appreciation for the rifle guys, but I just couldn't hold it as steady as I needed. So I'm back to Sporter/Sporter Mag weights! lol At 71 and bolted together, it takes me "a bit" to get into the Sitting Position. ha
