I have seen this on other boards and thought it would be cool to see who we are. So, if this is not wanted or off topic please delete.

I am a special education teacher at a middle school in north-western wi. I work with EBD kids for the most part along with other disabilities. I have been reloading for 9 years, but I have really learned a lot in the past two years and my groups are starting to show it. (sometimes that is)

I currently work in the field of sports medicine as an athletic trainer for a local high school. However, after a very long process I finally got the call I've been waiting for 2.5 years for from the Oregon State Police and will begin the next chapter of my life being a Trooper starting around February or March! I've been reloading and shooting and hunting since I was in my teens, but only got serious about the finer points of reloading and pushing the accuracy limits the last few years. I've recently been bitten by the long range bug and it has improved all aspects of my shooting from loading to trigger squeeze to wallet drain....

I am retired after 34 years as a Senior insurance adjuster. I then did a Pastoral internship at a Pentacostal church. I now work part time for the church as the Needs & Transportation Coordinator.
I have been loading for over 40 years but until the last 18 months just loaded for a couple of different rifles. Since joining this forum I have been loading for a wide variety of calibers as I have been taught so much

Blessings,
Dan
PS. WT, my daughter is a special Ed teacher & my oldest Son has a masters in Ed Phys. & is a highschool councillor:) my youngest boy owns is own Construction Company:)!

Heavy haul truck driver...most of the year I haul new equipment out of the factories for Case/New Holland/Kobelco (excavators, big tractors, combines, sprayers, etc.)...during the busy part of harvest season (now) I deliver combines to farmers for Machinery Link.

Took up reloading at about age 9...there was some "off time" since then...but never really stopped.

When I'm home...I'm either shooting, thinking about shooting, reloading, thinking about reloading...or spending quality time with my family.

I am a manufactures rep selling electronic components. I have been reloading since age 15, that was 37 short years ago.

Congratulations, Shoots_5!

I've been a city cop for a little over 25 years and an EMT for 20 years. Being in the emergency services business means the participant has to find his/her own rewards and I truly hope you find yours.

I hold an earned doctorate in medical biochemistry (The Role of Liver Malic Enzyme in Adaptation to Protein-Calorie Malnutrition) with post-doctoral studies in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Enzymology. I trained in ministerial studies for some time, engaging in a prison ministry in my spare time during earlier years. I am an ordained Baptist minister, having served as a seminary instructor and engaged to restart churches in conflict. I've been hand loading for some years, finding it handy to know a little something about firearms and their use.

I am an old worn out wildland fire fighter. I was on my first fire in 66 and never wanted to do anything else. I have a AA in forestry, started reloading in 59, killed my first elk in 61. More of a hunter than shooter, but love seeing what others can do with a well tuned rifle

Im a Para-Professional Speech-Language Pathologist. I have to work under a supervisor until I get a Master's degree which I'm currently in the process of trying to get accepted to a grad program. I am leader of the 5th/6th grade boys group of my church's AWANA club. Ive been reloading for myself for a couple years but have been helping Dad since I was just a little boy. Been a full blown addicted huntin fool for the last 13 years since my first year to hunt.

I hold an MBA in Finance and was Director of Worldwide Manufacturing and Strategic Manufacturing Planning for (10) manufacturing plants worldwide in a Multinational Medical Device division of a company of 30,000 employees for (18) years. I also was VP of Operations for a Diabetes Insulin Pump Startup at the Univ of Utah. After retirement, I was in charge of the Engineering and Automation of heart stent laser welding and manufacturing for (6) years. Additionally, I was an automation engineer of medical infusion devices, locks and toys for (15) years and prior to that, worked on a team designing fighter jets (A-6, F-105, F-111) for the US Government for (6) years. I left home at 16 years old and worked as an assistant to a Diamond Driller for a mining company in Northern Quebec. I went into the US Army when I was 18 and GED'ed high school.

I started hunting in 1957 and handloading in 1963, while in the Army. I also actively collected Pre-1964 Winchesters for (30) years. I have hunted all over the US, Quebec and Ontario for 60 years. I have loaded and used Nosler Partition bullets nearly exclusively since 1963. I was on a .45 ACP pistol team when I was young. I am 100% disabled now but shoot a great deal and handload for many rifle and pistol calibers. We attend Saint Brendan's, Anglican Church, whenever we can given my health issues.

After high school I moved to Colorado and was a ski bum, I spent 2 years in lift operations and 5 years as a ski patroller. I felt the calling to join the service at 25 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after my 7th year in the mountains. After boot camp I was assigned to the Marine Corps school of infantry where I went through schooling to become an assault-man. My specialty within the infantry was anti-tank assault and demolitions. That amounts to the SMAW rocket, JAVELIN missile, TOW missile, explosives and urban breaching.

Following the Marine Corps, I did a few different jobs but finally settled down as a Territory Manager/Branch Manager/Salesman for a company that sells equipment to install underground utilities. Including electric, fiber, irrigation, water service ect... I cover a little over 25,000 sq miles and have about 126,000 people in my territory. I have been there a little over three years. I love my job, not sure my wife likes the part about me being gone though, but it pays the bills.

I semi-retired from meatcutting a couple years back. Prior to that I was in the ag. feed and fertilizer business. And prior to that, I was contracting installation of ag. confinement systems. Due not finding a holster I needed in "06", I designed my own, and the "make me one" started in. Due to cancer found a bit over a year ago, of which I am currently free of with 2 surgeries, I quit the meatcutting altogether. I am currently behind on holster orders due to slow recovery and lingering issues, but it's all comming around. I am just thankful to still be breathing for the most part.
I started reloading in "75" due to necessity, when I had my great uncle build me a custom Ruger #1 and dies, in a .30 caliber on a slightly shortened and blown out .404 Jeffery. (sorry I don't have pic's of it).
A few of my work,,,

Then, like I needed another hobby, I got into casting my own bullets for a few certain caliber/chambering's.

Awesome pictures RR!

Man, I almost kinda forgot about your M71 buddy.. We might need to talk....

I also forgot, I was about 10-11 when my father got me an RCBS reloading kit out of the NRA coupon book they used to send out. Got it with 44 Rem Mag Dies.. I have a couple sets now.

RR, your daughter is one squared away little girl. I can only hope my daughter takes to it as much as yours has. We gotta link up buddy. We don't live too awfully far away.

Thank you all for the Thank you for the service, but I love what I do, and wouldn't change a thing.
