I stopped in Cabela's today and they had this Cabela's special Supergrade in 7mm Mauser!! OMG it was gorgeous and what a great cartridge!!! Talk about will power to stay away from this one. Still made AND assembled here in the USA!!

Yowza that's gorgeous! My next rifle will more than likely be a 7x57 but I've got too many gun related irons in the fire to think about $1400 right now.

Isn't that a handsome brute! I know that I'm loving my Featherweight 7 Mauser.

That is so you, David. What a great complement to the 280 AI you're having built. 8)

David,
There should always be room in the stable for two great 7mm cartridges. Think about your boy's inheritance!
Take Care Friend,
Joe

David all I can do is agree with the rest of the clad . That rifle was made to be a partner with you 280AI.

Blessings,
Dan

That one looks much like the one I just bought from the Thornton, CO store...due to be here about next Friday.

That is where I got my 378 Bee

I searched around in Cabelas stores for a 35 Whelen but didn't have much luck. That cartridge was brought up recently and got my interest going and thought I try to find out who was making them anymore.

JES Reboring will make you a Whelen in no time flat. Just need to send him a 30-06 you won't miss being a 30-06 anymore. :)

Well, that's sure one way to do it. I did run across one or two Remington 700's in the caliber since I last posted at Guns America.

David, that is a beautiful 7mm. Perfect compliment to my .375 Model 70 for a wonderful two-rifle hunting battery!

It would be tempting to get it for my son!! He would have a 6mm Remington, the 7mm Mauser, and then his 300 WSM. Pretty well set for just about anything in North America!!

That would, indeed, be a great addition to any arsenal for North America. The cartridge is classic in every sense of the word. The rifle is gorgeous, to be sure.
