I stopped in Cabela's today and they had this Cabela's special Supergrade in 7mm Mauser!! OMG it was gorgeous and what a great cartridge!!! Talk about will power to stay away from this one. Still made AND assembled here in the USA!!

JES Reboring will make you a Whelen in no time flat. Just need to send him a 30-06 you won't miss being a 30-06 anymore.

That would, indeed, be a great addition to any arsenal for North America. The cartridge is classic in every sense of the word. The rifle is gorgeous, to be sure.
