Odd time of year so going through some old pictures and I came across a text message thread from when I first started at FedEx and wasn’t able to take off to go to deer camp. Naturally my friends had to keep rubbing it all week. I was even nice enough to let my friend Tommy use my stand………..

:ROFLMAO: Oh man. I'm afraid I'd of come up with a pay back ribbing of sorts. A man can't let such behavior go unchallenged.

Dang, a nice buck too your bud got out of your stand. How did they come up with a UPS truck for the last pic??

I’m sure I’ve dealt out my fair share of harassment since then. I’m not sure , but it’s proof if you look long enough on the internet, you can find a pic of about anything.

I worked with a guy that was the king of pranks. To the point of downright annoying. It was all funny laugh your head off until the men got involved in a boys game.

I found some 3 yr old catfish bait that about knocked your head off when the lid was opened.....got me a small cement trowel and packed it in the engine exhaust manifold of his truck. When that stuff heated up on his way home from work and the stink and smoke filled the cab of his truck, he had to drive all the way home with his head hanging out the window. IN THE WINTER. (y)(y) :ROFLMAO:

That was the end of it. He found a different hobby to occupy his time.

You know how to pick a stand site. It was extremely "friendly" of you to share your stand before you could use it yourself. Dan
I’ve hunted that same stand for 9 years now. People on the trail ignore it because it appears to be a brier choked nightmare. Which, for the most part, it is. But, if you know the way through, you’ll come to a little open area of about 3 acres surrounded in 3 sides by those brier thickets, then the 4th is a small narrow draw that leads to a corn field about 300 yards away. It’s one of those spots that just produce year after year. I found it by mistake tracking a wounded bear.

Nice of you to share. I had been watching an 8pt and a 6pt prior to season. Let a friend of mine set in my stand because he said he wanted to get a doe for his brother-in-law because he was stoved up with cracked ribs and couldn't hunt. Thought it would be quickest way for him to get one and then be out of it and I'd catch one of those bucks coming through later. WRONG. He watches a doe from daylight to 10AM then shoots the 6pt. I ask him later why he didn't shoot the doe. He said why shoot a doe when you can kill a buck. Then later my son got the 8pt and old Dan got a doe,:D Was a good day, nevertheless. Dan.
