your 2021 hunting plans ?

Well the ID draw results are out and I drew the bull tag I had in '16 and '19, a extra elk tag, and a muzzleloader antelope tag. I also put in for a cow tag in WY that I'll probably draw. If I draw WY I'll have at least 4 elk tags this year. Should be a good deal for the freezer.

My dad and hunting buddy drew the bull tag as well. My dad is giving the tag to my oldest son that is now old enough to hunt (Parents and grand parents can pass elk, deer, antelope, and bear tags to youth under 18 in ID). With any luck his first elk will be a 300" bull.

It thunder stormed like crazy the night of opening day, the day I shot the dirt bike bull, and then the temp dropped and it snowed the next night. The morning of the 3rd day we woke up to a good blanket of snow. The other bull is my buddies.

Some other cool pictures packing both bulls out. BTW you can only use the dirt bikes to pack camp in and out or to pack meat out. The rest of the time they are parked. It's kind of nice so you don't have people running in and out all the time.

70% chance of drawing my Oregon deer tag. 100% for my Elk tag, OTC Bear and Cougar. All tagless days will be Duck hunting for the dogs pleasure. Sever drought here, So water is going to be the key to big game. Dry and cooler is the trend.

I did draw my deer tag & Elk tag and bought the fall bear & Cougar tags. 1st 2 weeks of October will be Deer-Bear-Cougar. Then waterfowl for a couple weeks. 2 weeks of early November will be Elk-Bear-Cougar. Then waterfowl until ice up.
