Unable to find any more Reloader 22 for my 7mm Remington Magnum, today I picked up two pounds of IMR 8133. The local gun shop had a good supply of it on the shelf. :)

Data suggests 3,000+ fps with a 160 gr bullet. My RL-22 load is doing 3050 fps.

Anyone here use IMR 8133 yet? Results? Anything to be concerned with?

Thanks, Guy

Love it I have many pounds of it

Guy,
IMR8133 is fantastic in my 338RUM giving me excellent speed and accuracy. It would be my top choice if I didn't already have a couple of 8 pounders of Retumbo.
I think you will get some nice results with it.

8133 and Retumbo have been pretty close for me Guy. Usually within a grain or two of one another.

Might be an excuse to try some of the 175’s you have kicking around as well.

Anyone tried it in 25-06?

I have a 25-270 ( that holds a little more than a standard 25- 06 case) I want to try it in.

Tried it in a 25-284 (short action that holds less powder than a 25-06) with 115 grain BT's. It was too compressed a load to get good velocity.

FOTIS- that is an enviable group!

That is a hell of a group. Now I have to go buy some of that powder too.

Easier to find Sasquatch riding a Unicorn than find any powders.

Its hard to argue with that velocity and that accuracy but holy moley 112gr per. 60 rounds/per pound.
