I just purchased a 22 Creedmoor rabble bolt action pistol from Horizon Firearms. It has a 14" barrel and I plan to use it as a truck gun, maybe pigs from a blind. Could someone work up QLD so I know where the signs of pressure and velocity might be? I'll be using Peterson brass, Federal 210 primers, and either the 62 gr Hornady VT or the 80 gr ELDx. Will adding a suppressor to this be discouraged with such a short barrel?

Congrats!
Make sure your can is rated for the shorter barrel lengths.
Optic you plan to use?
Thermal or traditional scope?
Peterson brass, H4350 with the 80's will work. 2.580 OAL. CCI or Fed Primer. 16" barrel 3154 fps
Look at the rifle data, and go with that.
My two 22 Creed pistols have a 15" and a 16" or a smidgen under 16".
I have been using factory ammo so far with them

I am not sure what optic to use, I am thinking a pistol scope with a better FOV, but I am interested in what you're using! I've seen people using standard rifle scopes when using a tripod, but not sure what to use when freehanding. Thanks for the information. I will work up some loads and post some pictures when I get it done!

With longer eye relief comes smaller field of view/FOV.
With longer eye relief it is also more difficult to find your sight picture, compared to a rifle scope.
I use rifle scopes with the majority of my bolt action specialty pistols.
I also use thermal rifle scopes on my SP's.
This is my preference...If all of your shots will always be under 100 yards and more likely 75 and under (Depending on the size of your target-Big issue if talking fox, coyote, etc...) a reflex sight will work, but then you are limited to short range only.

Otherwise with a brake or a can , give me a rifle scope!

I haven’t run QuickLOAD with that exact setup, but with that short of a barrel, I’d expect noticeable velocity loss, especially with the 80gr ELD-X. You might see better performance with the 62gr VT out of the short tube, unless you’re reaching for a bit more downrange energy. Peterson brass and Fed 210s are solid choices though, good consistency.

13" barrel or 14" barrel?

My 16" 22 Creed runs 3154 fps.
I am thinking he has a 13" and not a 14" barrel, at the worst with a 80 grain, he should be around 3050 fps.

I don't know which bullet is best for his needs.
I am guessing the 62 is going to be better for varmints, but that is for him to decide.
The 80 grain works on fox, yotes, hogs and deer, so there is that too.

I was mistaken, it is a 13" barrel. I'll probably load some 62-grain ready for varmints at all times, and then when I have pigs or deer in mind, I'll work up the heavier bullet load for that. Should be able to get that lighter bullet flying at a decent speed. All my stuff has come in and I'll work on loads over the next week!

Steel out to 1K, and I have killed a number of pd’s out to 500 yards or so with this rig as well, but no pics. Everything thing else besides rock chucks (from 150 to around to just under 500 yards), was from a standing position off of a tripod at night, using thermal.

Critters at night thread with my 22 Creed...

Close brothers, 18" and sub 16" 22GT does great too.

Posted all of that above to show what can be done with a short barreled fast twist center-fire specialty pistol....Do not let anyone's preconceived/false convictions keep you from trying whatever you want to try.
