Spring is Here

After getting home from work today off came the snowtires. Spring is slow to arrive here , not 1 single dandelion to be seen. Landscape is still brown with no greening in sight. Need some warm rain instead of a mix of snow and rain we’ve been getting.

Swapped out winter tires on the F150 today. Woke up to about three inches of snow this past Monday, and by 3:30 in the afternoon it was all gone. Sure acting like spring.

Appointment to swap out the snows next week. I expect by the following Friday we will see "6 of the white stuff. Spring feels long in coming here too. CL

Remains to be seen what we end up with but it is currently blowing sideways and 3"-6" forecast. I was really hoping my plowing was finished until fall.

Well four years ago we got 2’ of snow on Easter eve and morning. Made it down the driveway 1/4 mile but the state plows had a five foot berm across the end of our road. We were late to church.

Falteringummer is the only season we have in South Texas. Temps range from 110 deg to 0 deg on any given successive days. The only times I ever changed out truck tires was to put on solid tires that could survive mesquite thorns.

Here in northern BC, we say we have nine months of winter and three months of hard sledding. It has, however, been a mild winter this year. it is a delightful spring at the moment. (Hopefully, I didn't jinx our weather by making that comment.) I even managed to vote in the advance poll for the April 28 election. The hall was crowded with a lot of early voters, many wearing tees and no jacket.

I'm in southern Arkansas. It is mild to warm weather, and the torrents of rain have started for the season. When it isn't raining it is very pleasant right now. What I am not looking forward to is summer, it will be humid as heck once that comes around and just sweltering

It hit 80 deg here in the NY metro area. I broke a sweat doing springtime yard work. It's time to put the awning back up.

We're reasonably cool right now, more at seasonal norms. About a week ago though we were running in the mid to upper 90s and hit 101 one day. I've got to get my A?C up and running pretty soon.
