Being a Jarhead.... I kinda like ammo cans.... especially those full of rock and roll.
A couple years ago I started looking for the smaller GI ammo cans to haul to the range cause the standard ammo cans are large and bulky.
I have been using the MTM Dry Boxes also for several years, but again...
Well....Fotis has made his choice!!!
Oldtrader....here is what I consider a 1911A1.
Remington-Rand.... production date: 1943. US Army Issue.
I've yet to find a type or style of ammunition these girls would not shoot.
Anything else is just a clone in my book..... and clones have DNA problems.
Oldtrader...... I also am a fan of wheel guns.... Altho I started carrying a 1911 back in 1970 as my duty weapon.
Love my 1911's also..... but will pick up one of my Smith's in a heartbeat if needed.

Stopped in Tulsa this morning at Sports World.... one of the bigger gun stores in town.
They had about a dozen cans of powder......none which I use....and 5 bricks of primers... none that I need.
Bullets were nearly as bad.
They did have 22LR..... Blaser's.... limit 1 brick per customer...
I have 2 friends that work for DHS in different departments..... they are allocated training/practice ammo monthly.
Goofy thing about it is..... once issued... zero accountablility. No turning if of brass, anything.
They get 40S&W, 12 ga 00Buck and if they are in the right spot and...
Looks like a 1917.... which used mostly 45acp in full moon clips.. altho it was chambered for 45 Colt.
I'll try to get my S&W Expert to take a look at the phot and see what he says. Expert being he retired from S&W as a revolver fitter/tester after 33 years.
I have 2 40's..... Sig's..... a 229 and a 239.
Gonna have to take a look at the CZ 99.... have considered a 75 in 40, but the Sig's side tracked me.
