I just sold my 28 nosler and got a 6.5 CM, tired of not being able to find any ammo or brass for it. That is the problem with getting a caliber and brand specific rifle, i will never do that again no matter how good it is. By the way i got 1000 for the rifle.
Can anyone tell me if Nosler stopped producing the 28 Nosler Ammo, it is out of stock everywhere and i would really like to know if i will even be able to buy ammo for my Nosler rifle that i have in Nosler 28, if not i guess that i will have to sale my rifle.
also thinking of the Vortex PST Gen II SFP 3-15x44, I looked through it at Cabela's this evening along with the other 3 choices and it seemed to have just as good if not better glass on it, for alot less money. Any thoughts on the Gen II PST.
I am looking at getting a new scope for my Nosler M48 in Nosler 28, the 3 these are the 3 i am looking at

I used Med mounts, i think it came out perfect for me, once i get it broke in and sighted in i am going to get a custom turret form Kenton Industries so i can dial and pull the trigger. I should be able to take out game from quite a distance with this setup.
I finally got some glass on my Model 48 Nosler 28, it took me a while but i ended up deciding on the Vortex Viper HS-LR 4-16x50, it is a very nice scope, and for the money i do not think i could have done any better
I recently picked up a Nosler M48 in Nosler 28 and i need some glass for it, i have around 800.00-1,000.00 to spend and i want something that would be able to get me out there a bit. I was thinking about going with Vortex Viper HT 4-16x44, I think they are a pretty good scope, but i would like...
I am looking for a new scope for my Nosler Patriot 28 Nosler rifle, i am just curious about whether or not to go with Second Focal plane or First for a hunting and target shooting rifle. Thanks: Mickey

I just got my nosler 28 and I plan on using nosler trophy grade 160 grain accubond to brake in the barrel but I would like some load data for 150 grain e-tip and 160 grain accubond. I have magpro, rl17, rl22 and imr4350 powders.
I just got my new Nosler 28, now i need some glass, any opinions as to what to go with, i was thinking Leupold, Minox, Zeiss, or Swarovski, not really liking the price of the Swaro but i do no that they are a great scope. Any thoughts would be appreciated. These are the ones i am leaning...
I just purchased a new Nosler 28 Patriot rifle from my local Sportsman's Warehouse store, it is a great rifle and i am thrilled with the purchase, now i need to get some glass for it, i was thinking about a Leupold VX-6 3-18x44 with fire dot duplex CDS. I know there is probably better scopes but...
I am going to load up some of these, and i have been reading about how they can be hard to get good groups with, looking at the Nosler 7 book it says to load them at an O.A.C.L of 2.820, when the sami max is 2.860, i am going to be using Magpro powder with winchester cases and cci mag primers...
I understand what you are saying, that is why i will most likely not go with the detachable mags, and just go with the hinged floor plate. I am also thinking of going with the Nosler Custom 150grn E-Tip for the extra mass, an since it is a copper bullet it will hit like a much larger bullet. I...
