Tried a search but couldn't find anything. I have about 40 once fired brass out of my 300 win mag and I want to neck size only. Should I lube the whole case as usual or is there another way to lube the brass specificaly for neck sizing...
Thanks in advance!

1 3/8 inches (5 shots), 5/8 inch (first 4 shots) at 200 yards.
Shot from a Sako 85 varmint laminated stainless with VX3 target 6.5X20/50mm.
Out of four 5 shot groups, this was the smallest and the largest was 1 3/4 inches.
Ok, I've been waiting for my Sako hunter laminated in 300 win. magnum since Octobre 2010 and it doesn't look like it's coming anytime soon. So I've decided to cancel the order. Now I'm looking into a long range hunting rifle in the same calibre. What do you guys think of these choices, Remington...
Ok, Sako 85 laminated varmint stainless fluted. At what inch/pounds should I tighten the action screws and should I add a drop of blue Locktite?? Thanks in advance.
I currently have a Sako 85 varmint stainless fluted in 308 winchester that is toped with a Leupold VX3 LR 4.5X14 50mm. I have a Sako 85 grey wolf in 300 winchester magnum coming this fall and for it, I purchased a Leupold VX3 LR 6.5X20 50mm target with varmint reticle. I use my 308 winchester...
Hi guys,
I just purchased a Marlin 1895 in 45-70. I'm going to be using a Hornady 350gr. round nose, IMR 3130, Winchester brass and CCI primers. The only reason why I'm using the Hornady bullet is because here in Quebec, it would take like 4 to 6 months to get the 300 partition or the 300...
Hi guys,
I just purchased a Sako 85 grey wolf in 300 winchester mag. I want to build a load with a 180 grain bullet. I'm thinking either the Accubond or the E-Tip. Which would be the better performer for most of all North American game? Cause I'm planning on only one load for this rifle...
Rented a farm for hunting last week. My tree stand was nothing but a small bow hunting stand about 20 feet up. I leaned my rifle on the small platform to clear a branch from my line of sight when, my boot clipped the butt of my rifle and it fell 20 feet to the ground. My rifle is a Sako 85...
Hey guys,
Just bought myself a Sako 85 varmint stainless fluted with
laminated stock this weekend. Caliber is 308 winchester.
Damn that set trigger is sweet. Any suggestions on breaking
in my new barrel would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone
had any experience with this rifle? Good or...
I'd like to work up a target load for my 300wsm using a 155gr Custom competition bullet. Are they that much better than the rest of the Nosler line-up for target shooting or am I wasting my time with that particular bullet??
I purchaced an OAL guage from Hornady and was wondering if this is normal. I did as per the instructions and with my 150gr Accubond, the
OAL is 3.1 inches. The OCL in my Nosler book says 2.860. That's a distance of .25 inches before it touches the rifling. Is this alright???
Btw, the caliber is...
I'm installing my scope to my rifle. I know they sell a device with
lines on it that you attach to the rifle and then align the horizontal
lines of the reticle to the ones of the device. However. I don't have
that particular device and would like to know if there's a method
that someone here...
Hey guys
I just purchased the T3 stainless varmint in 300 wsm. I've owned
a Sako 75 stainless for about 5 years now. The fit and finish is
second to none and it shoots like a bat out of hell. So since the
T3 is from the same factory. I figured the quality control will be
at least the same as my...
What's a good starting point for the Accudond 180 grain in the
300 wsm?
And also for the Accubond 165 grain. Not sure which one I'm
going to go with yet.
P.S. By starting point I mean. What powder and what amount ?
I'm thinking of purchasing the Browning M-1000 a-bolt eclipse blued in
the 300wsm. Would like some feedback please. Is it a decent shooter?
Is it reliable? How's the barrel? etc...
Thanks in advance
Mike
P.S. I'm planning on getting it without the boss.
I just purchased a box of 180 Accubond and was wondering if this is a normal tolerance?
I mesured each individual bullet and my caliper reads from 1.390 to 1.395
I'm making a load for my bar rifle in 300win. mag. I followed
the sujgested OCL and the tip of the bullet touches the front
of my magazine. Should auto-reloaders OCL be shorter than
usual and also should they be crimped??
Thanks in advance
This is my question. I purchased a brand new Bar Safary in 300win. mag
with boss for moose and I want to make a load with the 180 Accubond. I currently have the number 4 reloading book and theres no reference to the Accubond loads. Can I use the same specs as the 180 balistic tip or are
they two...
