I emailed nosler in regards to the 35 accubond. Once again those of us shooting the short action 35s were forgotten about. The accubond is the same length as the ballistic tip. So if you have a 358 or a 350 remington mag you just like me are of luck.
I have a ruger 77 allweather in 350 mag. Great rifle. extremely accurate sub 1/2 inch if I do my part. The mag and chamber will handle out to 2.900 oal. I have not played with nosler bulets yet. The first load I picked was 225 sierra. I was in awe of the acuracy so I stuck with it. I am using...
Great Scope. I have a 3x9 on my 270. The raingaurd works likes you would not believe. You can sit all day in a downpour and still have a great sight picture. This rifle shoots great and after two trips out to North dakota and some rough treatment the point of impact has not moved a bit. As far...
I have not encountered any problems with H414. I can shoot my loads in any temerture conditions with the same accuracy results. I have not chronographed them but if there is any variation it has no ill effects on accuracy. As far as being dirty I have found to be no different than nearly any...
I have used the 250 grain 44 partition handgun with great results on game. I am thinking of trying the 180 grain 357 out in my 350 remington mag. I know the nosler manual lists data for using the bullet. I would like to know what type of performance I can expect on game with this bullet at...
Well first the typical warnings, the following loads are what work well in my rifle they are both safe and accurate. Both loads are hot so work up slow. I am shooting these loads out of a remington model seven that is totally unmodified including the horrible 7 pound trigger...
I have a longer chamber and mag than a typical 350 so I might give the BTs a try. I am able to comfortablely load out to an oal of about 2.860. Do you think this would work out okay with the BTs? If not I know the partitions will get the job done. I will have to see what is accurate in this...
Have you ever shot a deer with a ballistic tip. It is not pretty if you have to follow a deer you don't have a blood trail it is more of a meat trail. I have heard that the 35 is designed like the sub 30 BTs. Which is way the bullet is labeled for whelen so you are not shooting it in high...
I will agree with JD338. Same exact load I use. I am using them in assorted Ruger carbines. Excellent accuracy. As far as toughness goes they cannot be beat. My brother put one into a buffalo with a Ruger superblackhawk. He shot her broadside at about fifty yards through the lungs. The bullet...
I am no newbie when it comes to reloading. I want to get as much as possible out of this cartridge. If I encounter problems with feeding I will back it down. I bought this rifle to hunt multiple types of game with. I want the ability to use this on bigger game to whatever extent is resonable. I...
I recently purchased a ruger 77 mark IIallweather in 350 mag. I am getting around to reloading for it and have a few questions. I got this rifle to deliver alot power to any unfortunate big ugly nasty want to kill you type of critter I point it at. Don't have a need for all that power right now...
