Working up loads for deer season for my model 700. Have used 120 gr. Grand Slams for years with good success. Does anyone have any feedback on the 110 AccuBond for deer in 25/06? Had better accuracy with 100 gr. bullets, but not enough penetration. Has anyone had a 110 gr. AccuBond not penetrate? I prefer two holes for a good blood trail.
Thanks.

do a search. Many have used them with success!

yah this topic has been brought up alot.
I use 53g of imr4350 for 3140fps from a 24" tube
sub moa
shot a 400 pound hog at 60 yards, broke both shoulders, vaporized lungs/heart, and left a .257" exit hole (which was probably part of the core)!
I wouldnt hesitate to rock a moose with my 25! but a bear I'd have to think twice about!!!

I harvested a decent Blacktail in Oregon's Coast Range this last fall, using the 110 AccuBond. I'm shooting a .25-06, Ruger No.1, with 26" barrel. The load is listed in Nosler's latest reloading book, and keeps the Accubonds within 1" at 100 yards, routinely. The buck was shot at about 60 yards, took two steps and was done. I recovered the bullet just under the skin, on the opposing shoulder. The bullet retained about 48% of it's original weight.

Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to ventilating a whitetail with one this coming season.

Found a hunting load for my 25-06 which usually has trouble reaching higher velocities
without pressure signs. I have tried rx19, imr4350, imr4831,imr3031, imr7828 previously with good accuracy from the 4831, 7828 and 3031 but slow velocities.

110 accu, 60 grains Retumbo.

3050 fps and several .8" groups

24" barrel, cci br primers, rem 270 brass necked down to 25 cal.

next I will try some rx22 for fun.
