Any favorite loads for these bullets? My son bought an AR10 and I bought 1000 of these on Bivwak.

I have Varget, H414, H4895 and Reloder 17 in stock with Nosler brass.

I'm shooting those in a bolt gun, over 46.5 grains of Varget.

That load works great in my rifle, but please work up to it. I don't know how it will do in a semi-auto. Am using Winchester cases and Federal match primers. It's been a standard load of mine for 200 - 600 yard match shooting for years. The bullets can be very accurate!

I would try 43 grs. IMR 4895 in non-military cases 42 grs in military cases with the 155's in the AR-10. This shoots good in a M1A Springfield. 46 grs Varget is too hot in my bolt rifle but it does have a tight chamber.
I have used these Nosler 155 in a lot of 30 cal rifles and they are accurate.

I have been using sierra 155's and H4895 has worked great, now I cant find either of the 4898 powders anywhere though.

I have had my best luck with accuracy in the .308 with Rel 15 , Varget, and Norma 202.

Thanks for the replies.

Load development should be a challenge since He and the gun are in Rapid City SD and I am in Iowa.

Varget works well in my 308 bench gun with 155 palma matchkings and I imagine would work just as well with the Nosler competition bullets. IMR4064 works well with the 168s also. I stuck with the 155/varget combo because it repeatedly shoots 1 hole 3 shot groups at 100 yards in my rifle over the past 3 years in all kinds of temperatures.
