I wish I'd have built the 264 a long time ago. The gun and it's performance and recoil level fit my needs about perfect for a non-mountain rifle. It weighs 9.5lbs ready to hunt, and I prefer a little lighter gun for long hikes over steep country. For everything else though I'll take the extra weight and shootability. It is plenty of gun for any critter I'll hunt outside the mountains also.

Howdy Friends,
Greetings from Kota Kinabalu. Headed over there and stopped in for a beer in Malaysia. My cousin killed a dandy bull on the opener with the tag I gave him. Seeing those pictures was bitter sweet. Cross your fingers, as I gave my deer tag to my friend and he'll be headed out soon. Tried posting a pic of the bull, but no luck.
