Congrats to you all on some great shooting and animals!

I shot this buck in my home state of Utah back in Oct. spotted him earlier in the morning. He popped out 700 yards away and I made my move. Closed the distance and shot him quartering away at 150 yards.

The 270 handloaded with 150 BT dropped him stone dead on impact. The bullet exited and the performance was impressive.

That's. Beautiful Mule Deer buck! Congratulations on your buck and your hand loads.

Put the new stealth cam cell cam up Sunday..this young dude came by and last image it captured was his paw on Monday..torn from the tree, antenna broke off and gnawed on..still works, just no longer cellular capable..hopefully a new antenna will fix it.

Not sure where you are, but here in Central PA a bear is always after a freshly hung cam. A few years back I had a theory it had to do with smells from our hands and out house. I now set my cams up then put them outside for a couple days with a pair of gloves. I wear the gloves, put my cam in the bed of the sxs or truck, take it out, hang it and have not had a bear mess with one (sniff or up close look yes but no chew or paw action) since then. If this is the true fix or just coincidence I don't know. It's my new ritual now.
