270 WSM with 150 NAB L/R help

Has anyone done any work with the 150 ABLR in the 270 WSM? I tried in my Tikka T3 light and it wouldn't group. I figured the magazine was too short. I tried shortening more for a sweet spot but then I lost too much case volume.

Yep, found this combo to be just what RL 26 was designed to help. It is denser to get more weight charge in the same space. I had good results with it at 66 up to 67.5 grains and used Noslers OAL at 2.850. Would be worth trying if you can put your hands on powder.

Should reach/break 3,000fps in 24" barrel pretty easy.

Check out Alliants load data here for 150NP can use that as starting point with 150LRAB.

I didn't have any luck with RL-26, but I have a good shooting load doing 3010 fps with RL-23. 62gr I think.
