I am trying to work a load up with 180 gr Accubonds. I would like to use H 4831SC powder but don't really know where to start as Nosler doesn't list in the the #8 manual for 180 gr. bullets. Any information would be appreciated.

I have never used the Quick Load. From where would you recommend that I drop back ten percent from?

Drop back ten percent from the maximum charge indicated. If you are familiar with the cartridge and the particular nuances of your rifle, that can be reduced somewhat. It is nevertheless a good rule to drop back and reevaluate whenever changing lot numbers or any component.

I've found this to be a very accurate load in several 300's.

75g H4831 jumped .050"

Usually nets real close to 3,000 Fps. Kind of mirrors what Quickload is predicting above.

Welcome aboard, Finaddictions. Sounds as if you are getting some fine velocity out of your 300 Win. What sort of accuracy do you see?

75gr exactly mirrors what we used with the Nosler 180BT, we used 73 for the older Barnes XBT. The best we found with the XBT was 76gr R22.

Good shooting! I plan on testing out my loads in the morning. I wish I could load the accubonds longer but my tikka magazine doesn't allow which kinda is a burden.

I hear what you're saying on the Tikka mags, but on the other hand my experience with Accubonds is they don't mind a jump. I often start them at .050 off even when I have a magazine where they could be seated farther out.

I am using the AB in my 7 mm mag and my most accurate group has the bullet seated @ 3.280, actually shorter than factory ammo.
