...Browning is showing an A-Bolt Micro Hunter in .325 WSM for a "list price" of $739...

...probably gonna kick a little, but honestly, my .325 WSM has less "felt recoil" w/ 220grs. than the .300 WSM w/ 180's...

I was honestly surprized how little my Kimber Montana in .325 kicked. I was shooting it alongside my Featherweight '06, 220 FL in the .325 and 165 handloads in the Winchester, and the recoil seemed very similar.

Recoil is a matter of physics. However, felt recoil is somewhat different. Undoubtedly, the WSMs appear to have noticeably less recoil. The calculations don't lie, but because of the difference in powder column the recoil is spread out over a different period of time, making the recoil less severe.

Here you go. For the ballistics you can not beat the overall package

I certainly appreciate that Fotis, but my heart is set on a bolt action.

If you want to sell a bolt gun with an overall length of under 42" , in something from 8mm to .358 , let me know.

Thanks,
Tony

WOW!!! That Mauser in 35 Whelen is off the hook!
Unfortunately, about double my budget. :(

I will definitely keep my eye on that BLR.

Thanks again,
Tony

For sure, the Mauser is a lovely piece of work. It would be a most handsome addition to any safe.

Wow, that 700 Classic is sweet! Great price as well. Can't get no better that a Whelen. It'll run with the 338RCM pretty easily and cases will be available FOREVER and cheap!

I remembered that place has great pricing on guns from what guys have said, wasn't expecting to see that Classic though. If widgeon doesn't want it somebody here has got to buy it it looks to be in excellent shape.
