That's a great load Scotty your CDL is one heck of a good gun, hopefully you can find some animals to use that on in the near future.

I hope so too. I love the 35 Whelen. It is similar to the 280AI in that it does about everything the 338 does with less powder and recoil. Makes for a great medium bore.

It'll be going to Idaho this year for elk and deer. It's been awhile since it has hammered anything.

With this one and your 250 gr loads you now have a lot of good choices to choose from.
