I vote for a 300-325gr AccuBond with a heavy base like the .338 BT's. I'm a firm believer in the bigger hole you punch in an elk the better. Even the lighter weight .375 bullets will shoot clean through an elk a far way off (broadside) so I'm not all that worried about giving up some SD for speed. A BC in the .450+ range would be a bonus too.

Again I agree...make mine a 325 gr!
