Roughly 700 loads per poundI have an 8lber of the stuff and man, I feel like I shoot a lot but I can’t hardly make a dent in this stuff. At 10 grains a throw it sure does go a long way.

I don't have a 44 but had a 41 Magnum, I used H110 mainly and the 210 XTP, and boy that powder does move em fast. H110 should work like a charm for the 44 Magnum. Powder does burn a little dirty.Looking for mid range loads for the 44 Rem Mag for my S&W 629's.
Looking to use 240 gr Hard Cast and JHP's but might consider using a 200 gr JHP.
What are your favorite loads?

H110 is my go to powder for the 44 Rem Mag for full power loads. I'm working on a mid power load with hard cast bullets. Getting 1000-1100 fps is just about perfect in a 3" barrel for woods carry.I don't have a 44 but had a 41 Magnum, I used H110 mainly and the 210 XTP, and boy that powder does move em fast. Looking goodSo here's what I have ended up with for a mid range load in my S&W 629-3 3" revolver.
240 gr SWC hard cast coated from Bauyou Bullets
10.0 grs Unique
CCI 350 Large Magnum Primer
R-P brass
Velocity is 1040 fps with an ES of 26.1 and SD of 8.1 from a 3 " barrel. Consistently hitting the 58 yard 10" gong, groups are 4-5". I will work on improving my accuracy.
I am also taking a close look at VZ Grips.

I’ve heard HS6 is darned good as well.Looking good
Alliant hasn’t been very helpful on keeping up the supply. For now I’ll see what HS-6 will do for me.
