444 hunting loads

After working on this off and on for the past couple months I have a load worked up for my 444 Marlin.

265 gr Hornady interlock with 46.5 gr if H4198 with a CCI LR primer. I did all the load development at 75 yards.

That is assuredly tight enough for any game you would normally hunt with the 444. Fine grouping.

Wow, very nice. The 444 is an awesome cartridge. Mine is still not blooded, but I have no doubts it'll get it done, and well.

I also had good results with RL-7 and H335 too but it shined the best with H4198. I've taken a few deer and a couple of hogs with it in southeast Georgia and it stopped em in their tracks. It's my gun of choice when I packed a cow elk in case of a bear encounter.
